Some inking tests! This is my character Invidius, who I made when I was 14! He belongs to a race called the Saridi, who highly value information, and the rockstars of their culture are travelling spies. While largely neutral to outsider politics, the Saridi are thought to have enough accumulated intelligence that they could easily conquer the known world if desired.
…yeah, I really want to do a fantasy comic. :I

55 Maui Dolphins left in the world, urgent protest

ORIANART: Critical Thoughts on Art School & Unfocused Professional Career Path

fox-orian:

I’ve been meaning to do a short rant dealing with how I feel retrospectively having gone to art school. I’ve talked about having gone before, and I’ve given some advice about choosing a school that’s right for you should you choose to go. But you know, having been out for a couple years now,…

I’m actually pretty amazed by how many people who I’ve met going into fine arts without any idea of what they’re going to do in the end. Here in NZ we quite like to chuck everything on our student loans and sort it out later.

Good read!
